About Hotram

Hotram is located in Baria, Vungtau Province, about 125 kilometers southeast of Hochiminh City. Hotram provides for the nicest beach in the area combining unspoiled waters with a large and wide beach of clear sand and is an increasingly week-end destination for wealthy Hochiminh City residents as well as emerging as a resort destination for international tourists.

Binh Chau hot spring is an attractive destination where you can freely discovery beautiful natural scenery and relax in hot spring. Swimming in hot spring and mud bath with fresh air will help you overcome a lot of diseases. In August 2003, Binh Chau hot spring was recognized as one of 65 sustainable ecotourism area of 47 countries all over the world by World Tourism Organization.

The area is also home to an 11,000-hectare rainforest that was designated as a nature reserve in 1975. Most of the larger wildlife was exterminated or moved for safety reasons (most of the elephants were sent to Thailand), but plenty of beautiful birds and monkeys can be spotted in the forest.

Ho Tram Beach is mentioned by Lonely Planet Guide as the #3 of the Top 5 Places to visit around Ho Chi Minh City.

If you are staying at a luxury resort, activities such as fishing, golfing and sunbathing are offered. The Grand Ho Tram hotel houses a grand casino and golf course, which is open to non-guests - be sure to carry your passport if you want to test your luck at the casino, as locals are not  permitted to gamble.

Seafood restaurants can be found within the Ho Tram hamlet as well, where you can choose from an extensive array of live oysters, octopus, clams, fish, shrimp and crabs.
